White Hand

I found this book at an old dusty store way up in Maine, Liberty Tools. I loved the detail on the cover and binding, it was printed in Boston 1875. I sat with it for a while until I got to it with a fresh exacto blade. Each and every page has a different cut-out pattern. Through the layers it creates an abstraction of the words, of the language, of the outdated novel.

"the flower's scent, the forest's force,
the depth's reserve, the ripple's hue;
sweet and true-"

surely, this is enough!
